| This picture shows Tom Ashbrook in the yard of Colliery Farm (later called Quay House Farm). In the background, a railway bridge crosses Marshland Road. Spoil from the mine was brought along this line and tipped on the land along side the harp inn which still sits in the same place today overlooking the estuary. |
